Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
EXPERIENCE
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a first-person shooter created and published by Infinity Ward and Activision. It is the 16th Call of Duty in the histories franchise and takes place in a realistic modern setting. The campaign follows American and British forces combating as allies to defeat the Russian Army. The Call of Duty series has come a long way but no other Call of Duty has had an online server like Modern Warfare has. Many of the new features include cross-platform multiplayer, new game modes like "gunfight", and a mode called “ground war” which is a 64-player lobby on a significantly bigger map than previous games.

Fortnite is a brand-new online video game created in 2017 and developed by Epic Games. Fortnite Battle Royale is the most significant game mode out of the three created by Epic Games where up to 100 online players all drop to the same island, obtain different materials and guns and fight it out until only 1 player remains being awarded the famous “Victory Royale”. Fortnite was the first game to create and popularize a battle royale game mode and now there are countless amounts of battle royale games including Call of Duty, Apex Legends, PlayerUnknown’s Battleground, and Realm Royale.

Apex Legends is yet another free to play battle royale style game just like Fortnite. Without Fortnite’s idea Apex Legends would have never been developed by Respawn Entertainment. These developers used a mix of their old game Titan Fall and Fortnite to create a first-person shooter with similar game play using a 100-player fight on an island. Although they took a lot of ideas from Fortnite Apex added in its own uniqueness in order to fight for a top spot in the battle royale community while also adding features into their game that fornite later used in their own game.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is an action-adventure game created by Rockstar Games in 2018. This game is the prequel to the 2010 Red Dead Redemption game and is set in 1899 in the wild west of the United States. In this game you are Arthur who’s in a gang called Van der Linde. This game can be portrayed in both first and third person where players can roam around in an open interactive world. This game is like no other because of the amount of detail Rockstar Games puts into it because of the size of the map, detail to the story, and the intelligence of the AI (Artificial Intelligence).
